Home My WebLink About810745.tiff ROOFING AGREEMENT THIS AGREEMENT made this a7Tff day of May, 1981 by and between WELD COUNTY, COLORADO, hereinafter called "County" and RICE ROOFING, INC. , hereinafter called "Rice. " WITNESSETH: That County and Rice, for the considerations hereinafter set forth agree as follows: SECTION I Rice agrees to furnish all materials and perform all work as hereinafter set forth on the attached Exhibit "A" entitled "Weld County Extension Building Roof" , incorporated herein by reference, such materials and work to include only "Alternative #3" . Such work is to be performed on the building known as the Weld County Extension Building located in Island Grove Park, Greeley, Colorado. In addition to the work to be performed by Rice, Rice shall be responsible for removal of all trash and debris resulting from the performance of work by Rice. All work shall be performed in a workmanlike manner to the reasonable satisfaction of County. SECTION II Rice shall be responsible for performing its part of this Agreement within a reasonable amount of time, weather permitting. SECTION III Rice agrees that it will pay for all materials used by it and for all labor performed and that it will not allow any liens to be filed by materialmen and/or persons performing labor on the afore- mentioned property. Rice shall provide to County lien waivers for all materials supplied to the property. SECTION IV County agrees to pay to Rice the total amount of $16 ,080 .00 plus cost of insulation at the rate of 520 per square feet 810745 Upon delivery of the materials to the property and upon execution of this contract by both parties, County agrees to pay to Rice 50% of the contract price. The balance of 50% shall be paid by County to Rice upon satisfactory completion of the work by Rice. SECTION V Rice agrees to maintain liability insurance in the minimum amount of $250 ,000/$400 ,000 and in addition, adequate workman ' s compensation insurance. SECTION VI The price set forth above for completion of the contract includes all labor and/or materials as set forth in Exhibit "A" . SECTION VII This Agreement shall be binding upon, and inure to the bene- fit of, the successors , assigns, heirs and legally appointed representatives of the parties hereto.
