RE: DECLARE CERTAIN EQUIPMENT AS SURPLUS PROPERTY, AND AUTHORIZE
SALE OF SAME AT RITCHIE BROTHERS AUCTIONEERS AUCTION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, State statute and the Weld County Code require that all items disposed of be
declared surplus by the Board of County Commissioners, and
WHEREAS, the County has determined that certain equipment, as described on the Title
Request List, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, is no longer
required for County use, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to declare said equipment as surplus and
approve said sale at the Ritchie Brothers Auctioneers Auction.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned equipment be, and hereby is, declared surplus.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the sale of said equipment at the Ritchie
Brothers Auctioneers Auction, be and hereby is, approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 16th day of November, A.D., 2005.

NOTES:
It N required that all vehicles and bailers have titles, and unless you are a Motor Vehicle Dealer,they must
• be in your name, NOT IN SOMEONE ELSE'S AND REASSIGNED TO YOU. Please check your titles over
carefully.
We also require that an vehicles and trailers have VINs(Vehicle Identification Numbers or Serial
Numbers). A cab VIN is helpful but the VIN found on the frame Is the final authority. These numbers must
match the numbers on the title, AGAIN,ALL ITEMS MUST HAVE A FRAME VIN ON IT AND IT MUST
MATCH THE TITLE OR WE CANNOT SELL YOUR ITEM. If you have any questions on this,please call

REGISTRATIONS
Some states Issue registrations on portable or self-propelled units that can be towed or driven down the
highway on a regular bails(I.e.welders,air compressors and pumps on wheels,street sweepers,tuck
cranes, and acme small trailers). We will require all titles OR registrations on any of your portable and/or
self-propelled units If the Item ever had one In any state,
