RE: APPROVE REAPPOINTMENTS TO WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BOARD
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,vacancies currently exist on the Workforce Development Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Joanne Fenton, as a large business
representative, Linda Conte,as a rehabilitation services representative,Sarah Elliott, as a financial
representative, Dana Rutz, as a small business-service representative, Joyce Johnson, as a
Department of Labor and Employment associate member representative, Alvina Derrera, as a
migrant and seasonal farm workers/older workers representative, and Georganne Hughes, as an
adult literacy representative, be reappointed to said board, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to reappointJoanne Fenton, Linda Conte,Sarah
Elliott, Dana Rutz,Joyce Johnson,Alvina Derrera,and Georganne Hughes to said board,with terms
to expire December 31, 2008.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County,Colorado,that Joanne Fenton, Linda Conte,Sarah Elliott, Dana Rutz,Joyce Johnson,Alvina
Derrera,and Georganne Hughes, be,and hereby are,reappointed to said board,all terms to expire
December 31, 2008.
The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded,adopted by
the following vote on the 28 . s i'a `ecember, A.D., 2005.
