Home My WebLink About20052110.tiff RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS MINUTES HOUSING AUTHORITY WELD COUNTY, COLORADO JULY 25, 2005 TAPE #2005-30 The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, met in regular session as the Housing Authority Board in full conformity with the laws of the State of Colorado at the regular place of meeting in the Weld County Centennial Center, Greeley, Colorado, July 25, 2005, at the hour of 9:00 a.m. ROLL CALL: The meeting was called to order by the Chair Pro-Tern and on roll call the following members were present, constituting a quorum of the members thereof: Commissioner William H. Jerke, Chair - EXCUSED Commissioner M. J. Geile, Pro-Tem Commissioner David E. Long Commissioner Robert D. Masden Commissioner Glenn Vaad Also present: County Attorney, Bruce T. Barker Acting Clerk to the Board, Jenny VanEgdom Finance and Administration Director, Donald D. Warden MINUTES: Commissioner Long moved to approve the minutes of the Housing Authority Board meeting of June 27, 2005, as printed. Commissioner Vaad seconded the motion, and it carried unanimously. NEW BUSINESS: CONSIDER STANDARD FORM OF COORDINATION SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR EMERGENCY SHELTERS AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN:Tom Teixeira, Director of Housing Authority,stated Weld County applied to the State Division of Housing for Emergency Services funds to assist four homeless shelters,and was awarded$52,100. He stated the funding will be disbursed to the four shelters as follows: Greeley Transitional House, $13,120.00;A Woman's Place, Inc., $11,057.00;Catholic Charities Northern, $22,085.00; and Room at the Inn, $5,839.00. Commissioner Vaad moved to approve said form, and authorize the Chair to sign the agreements when they are received. The motion,which was seconded by Commissioner Masden, carried unanimously.
