FOR A KENNEL(80 DOGS,INCLUDING DOG DAY CARE)IN THE A(AGRICULTURAL)
ZONE DISTRICT - DEBORAH LOWRY
A public hearing was conducted on December 14,2005, at 10:00 a.m.,with the following present:
Commissioner William H. Jerke, Chair
Commissioner M. J. Geile, Pro-Tem
Commissioner David E. Long
Commissioner Robert D. Masden - EXCUSED
Commissioner Glenn Vaad
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Jenny VanEgdom
Assistant County Attorney, Lee Morrison
Planning Department representative, Kim Ogle
Health Department representative, Char Davis
Public Works representative, Don Carroll
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated November 23, 2005, and duly published
November 30, 2005, in the Fort Lupton Press, a public hearing was conducted to consider the
request of Deborah Lowry for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review
Permit#1525 for a Kennel (80 dogs, including dog day care) in the A(Agricultural)Zone District.
Lee Morrison,Assistant County Attorney, made this a matter of record. Kim Ogle, Department of
Planning Services,stated the applicant requested a continuance of the matter to January 11,2006.
In response to Commissioner Geile,Mr.Ogle stated the letter sent by the applicant stated she had
to be out of town due to unforseen circumstances.
No public testimony was offered concerning this matter.
Commissioner Vaad moved to continue the request of Deborah Lowry for a Site Specific
Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit#1525 for a Kennel (80 dogs, including dog
day care) in the A(Agricultural)Zone District,to January 11, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. The motion was
seconded by Commissioner Long, and it carried unanimously. There being no further discussion,
the hearing was completed at 10:45 a.m.
