RESOLUTION
RE: APPROVAL OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN WELD 'COUNTY' AND THE TOWN OF-
GROVER AND AUTHORIZATION FOR THE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN THE SAME.
• WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
. Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, an Agreement between Weld County and the Town of
Grover has been prepared and submitted to the Board of County
Commissioners for approval, and
WHEREAS, the Town of Grover agrees to allow Weld County to
store three fuel tanks on Lot 23, Block 8 in the Town of Grover,
• and
WHEREAS, Weld County agrees to haul and spread approximately
500 tons of gravel on County Road 390 and also agrees to grade
the platted streets of Gover on an as needed basis during the
term of the Agreement, and
WHEREAS, said Agreement is a 5-year Agreement, and
WHEREAS, the Board, after studying said Agreement, deems it
advisable to approve the same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Agreement between
Weld County and the Town of Grover be, and hereby is , approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman of
the Board is hereby authorized to sign said Agreement.

The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 9th day of
February, A.D. , 1981.

! AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into this 9th day of
February, 1981 by and between the TOWN OF GROVER, County of Weld,
State of Colorado, hereinafter "Grover" and the BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS of the County of Weld, State of Colorado, herein-
•
after "Board" .
For and in consideration of the mutual covenants and agree-
ments set forth herein the parties hereto agree as follows :
1. Board hereby agrees to haul and spread approximately
500 tons of gravel on County Road 390 between Chatoga
Street and Larimie Street (also kiiown ',as County-Road
122) in Grover, on or before November 1 , 1980.
2. Board hereby agrees to grade the platted streets of
Grover on an as needed basis during the term of this
•
Agreement.
3. Grover agrees to allow the Board to store three (3)
fuel tanks of approximately 500 gallons on an existing
elevated platform on Lot 23, Block 8, in the Town' of
Grover.
4. This Agreement shall remain in full force and effect
for a period of five (5) years from the date of execu-
tion set forth above.

The agreement between Weld County Colorado and the Town of Grover
that was recently sent to us, was discussed at our last regular meet—
ing. After much discussion the Mayor and the Trustees of the council
decided against it .
It was decided that if WEld County wanted to use Town propErty
to store their fuel tanks that in return we 'would like the following
services .
1 . County Road. 390 between Chatoga and Laramie Street be built
up. (which has already .bccn done )
2. That our streets in Town be graded by Weld County maintainers
once a month. _
And for the above services to the Town of Grover by Weld County,
we will agree to let Weld County use Lot 23 in Block 8 for storage
of their fuel tanks rent free for a period of five (5 ) years from
date of signed agreement. •

the Board shall be entitled to retain said fuel tanks
on the subject property for ninety-nine (99) years
from date of execution of' this Agreement. •

TOWN OF GROVER CONCERNING THE UPGRADING OF A PORTION OF WELD '
COUNTY ROAD 390 AND AUTHORIZATION FOR CHAIRMAN TO SIGN THE
SAME. .
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the- Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, an agreement between Weld County, Colorado and Lhe
' Town of Grover has been presented to the Board of County Commis-
sioners for approval , and
WHEREAS, 'said agreement concerns the upgrading of Weld
County Road 390 between Chatoga Street and Larimie Street (also
known as County Road 122) in Grover, and
WHEREAS, ' in exchange for the upgrading of said road by Weld
County, the Town of Grover agrees to allow Weld County to store
three fuel tanks of approximately 500 gallons on an existing
elevated platform on Lot 23, Block 8 in' the Town of Grover, and
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners has studied said
agreement and deems it advisable to approve the same .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT- RESOLVED by the- Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the agreement between
• Weld County and the Town of Grover be, and hereby is , approved. •
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
that the Chairman of the Board is hereby authorized to sign the
• agreement.
