Dear Commissioners:
Our office represents Hewlett-Packard Company, the owner
of certain parcels of real property located in Weld County
and identified by the Weld County Assessor as Parcel No' s .
62095904000014 , 25 and 30 . These three parcels were subject
to a levy for taxes for Western Hills Fire Protection District
for the years, 1982 and 1983 .
An Order was signed on November 24 , 1981 in Civil Action
No. 25004 in the District Court in and for Weld County ex-
cluding the three parcels from the Western Hills Fire Pro-
tection District.
We herewith make application for refund of the taxes
assessed and paid for the benefit of the Western Hills Fire
Protection Districts for the years 1982 and 1983 , and request
a Hearing on this application. The application is based on
the provision of 32-1-502 (6) C.R.S . which reads in part:
"Any Order for exclusion of territory from
a special district shall become effective
on January 1 next following the date the
Order is entered by the Court. "
