RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF COMMISSIONER DAVID LONG TO HB1451
INTERAGENCY OVERSIGHT GROUP
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Commissioner David Long be appointed to
represent the Board of County Commissioners on the HB1451 Interagency Oversight Group, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Commissioner David Long to said
HB1451 Interagency Oversight Group, with his term to expire December 31, 2005.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Commissioner David Long be, and hereby is, appointed to the HB1451
Interagency Oversight Group, with his term to expire December 31, 2005.
The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded,adopted by
the following vote on the 20th day of July, A.D., 2005.
