RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF GEORGANNE HUGHES TO WORKFORCE
DEVELOPMENT BOARD
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,a vacancy currently exists on the Workforce Development Board, and
WHEREAS,it has been recommended that Georganne Hughes be appointed to said board
as the adult literacy representative, to replace Alicia Ziegler, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to appoint Georganne Hughes to said board,with
a term to expire December 31, 2005.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Georganne Hughes be, and hereby is, appointed to the Workforce
Development Board, effective May 1, 2003, with a term to expire December 31, 2005.
The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 31st day of October, A.D., 2005, nunc pro tunc May 1, 2003.
