Hempen, Jr., P.E. COLORADO Director of Public Works/County Engineer SUBJECT: Agenda Item Change Order No. 2 for the construction of Weld County Bridge 27/58A over Sheep Draw. Weld County has contracted with Hamon, Inc., contractors for the construction of the Bridge 27/58/A replacement project, in the amount of$937,991.51. Change Order No. 1 included a sidewalk under the bridge and increased this amount by$17,440.00 which was paid by the City of Greeley. Attached is Change Order No. 2 that will increase the contract amount by $6,504.11 for additional services that were needed to complete the project. The additional services are shown on the attached pay request summary and include a miscellaneous of over-runs and under-runs for the contract bid items. The County's portion of this change order is 10% or $650.41. The 10% is being funded by City of Greeley and the bridge grant covers the remaining 80%. The new contract amount will be $961,935.62. The project has been completed and opened to traffic. Attached are two original Change Orders No. 2 for Bridge 27/58A.
