Re: Roth Subdivision Park
Dear Mr. Sinks:
I have reviewed the discussion held approximately one year ago regarding
the park and its use. I can only suggest that if Mr. Roth wishes to
obtain the park that he make a formal request to the Board of County
Commissioners.
The Board's decision of last year (1981) was to keep the park reserved
and apparently hope to encourage an association of residents to organize
and use the area. The legal process to return or dispose of land is not
within the Planning Services' jurisdiction: I cannot provide adequate
information regarding the procedure. As addressed above, the Board
discussed the matter only one year ago and elected not to dispose of the
property.
I have enclosed a copy of the Board's Resolution and meeting minutes from
a year ago for your information. If we can be of further assistance please
feel free to call.
