A public hearing was conducted on July 20, 2005, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present:

Commissioner Robert D. Masden - EXCUSED
Commissioner Glenn Vaad
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Esther Gesick

Planning Department representative, Kim Ogle
Health Department representative, Char Davis
Public Works representative, Peter Schei
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated June 24, 2005, and duly published June 29, 2005,
in the Fort Lupton Press, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of Francisco
Garcia for Change of Zone, PZ#1058, from the A(Agricultural)Zone District to the PUD(Planned
Unit Development)for eight(8)lots with E (Estate)Zone uses and 11.2 acres of open space. Lee
Morrison, Assistant County Attorney, made this a matter of record. Kim Ogle, Department of
Planning Services, stated the applicant is requesting a continuance to August 17, 2005, when a
full quorum of the Board will be present. Chair Pro-Tem Geile advised the applicant's
representative, Cande Garcia, that he has the option of continuing this matter to a date when the
full Board will be present. However, if he decides to proceed today, it will require three affirmative
votes, or be deemed denied. Mr. Garcia indicated he would like to continue to August 17, 2005,
when a full quorum of the Board will be present.
No public testimony was offered concerning this matter.
Commissioner Vaad moved to continue the request of Francisco Garcia for Change of Zone,
PZ #1058, from the A (Agricultural) Zone District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) for
eight (8) lots with E (Estate) Zone uses and 11.2 acres of open space, to August 17, 2005,
at 10:00 a.m., when a full quorum of the Board will be present. The motion was seconded by
Commissioner Long, and it carried unanimously. There being no further discussion, the hearing
was completed at 10:15 a.m.
