RE: UNCLAIMED MONIES.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado Statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Treasurer and Director of Finance and Adminis-
tration have advised the Board that there are unclaimed monies being held
by the Treasurer in the amount of TWO THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY-FOUR
DOLLARS AND NINETY-FIVE CENTS ($2,454.95) , and
WHEREAS, on June 9, 1980 the Board of County Commissioners adopted a
resolution specifying the procedure for the disposition of unclaimed monies
and any future claim made against those monies.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners that
the Director of Finance and Administration and the County Treasurer are hereby
authorized to make the appropriate transfer of the unclaimed monies in the
amount of TWO THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY-FOUR DOLLARS AND NINETY-FIVE CENTS
($2,454.95) to the General Fund, and to make the necessary accounting trans-
actions to accomplish the above, as soon as appropriate.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 15th day of December, A.D. , 1980.
