The Weld County Council met in special session in full conformity with the Weld County
Home Rule Charter, Tuesday, June 20, 2005, 5:00 p.m., at Weld County Centennial
Center, 915 10th Street, Greeley, CO.
ROLL CALL: The meeting was called to order by President Chip Marks. Vice
President Dwaine Kurtz, Councilman Tom Pettit, and Councilman Gene Stille were
present, constituting a quorum of the members. Also present: Jerry Borger, Virginia
Buczek, Harold Fahrenbruch, Tom Haren, and Bev Thomas, council secretary. '
Interviews & Appointment to Fill Weld County Council District 2
Council members interviewed Harold Fahrenbruch and Virginia Buczek. After a five-
minute break the Council interviewed Jerry Borger, and Tom Haren. Councilman Gene
Stille made a motion the council appoint Virginia Buczek to fill the Weld County Council
District 2 seat opened by the resignation of Douglas Rademacher. Vice President
Dwaine Kurtz seconded the motion and on a roll call vote the motion carried
unanimously.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:50 p.m.
