Weld County Public Works Department has reviewed this Re-Subdivision request. Comments made during this phase
of the subdivision process may not be all-inclusive, as other concerns or issues may arise during the remaining
application process.
Comments
❑ Weld County currently has jurisdiction and maintenance of CR 18 and CR 25, which are paved in this
vicinity.
u This request appears to only involve a lot vacation with the accesses remaining as previously recognized.
❑ A forthcoming recorded exemption was mentioned in the application whereby a lot was suggested to be split
because of a ditch/ canal constraint. The applicant should address access to the lot to be split, since it is not
evident to Public Works.
u Public Works has no disagreement with this minor re-subdivision for the lot line adjustment at this time.
Recommendation
❑ The Public Works Department has no conflict with this re-subdivision.
The applicant shall address the comments listed above at the specific step of the review process stated. The review
process will continue only when all appropriate elements have been submitted. Issues of concern must be resolved
with the Public Works Department prior to any decision or recording.

Dear Ms. Hatch:
Reference is made to the above-motioned project located in Section 19, T2N, R66W, Weld
County, Colorado.
If any work associated with this project requires the placement of dredged or fill material, and
any excavation associated with a dredged or fill project, either temporary or permanent, in waters of the
United States at this site, this office should be notified by a proponent of the project for Department of the
Army permits or changes in permit requirements pursuant to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act. Waters
of the U.S. includes ephemeral, intermittent and perennial streams, their surface connected wetlands and
adjacent wetlands and certain lakes, ponds, drainage ditches and irrigation ditches that have a nexus to
interstate commerce.
Work in waters of the U.S. should be shown on a map identifying the Quarter Section, Township,
Range and County of the work and the dimensions of work in each area of waters of the U.S.
Please see the attached list of"Environmental Consultants"that may help in the identification,
delineation and mapping of any waters of the U.S. that may be evolved with this project.
