RE: IRS TEFRA HEARING CONCERNING THE ISSUANCE OF ADJUSTABLE RATE
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT REVENUE BONDS (BSC HUDSON, LLC PROJECT)
SERIES 2005
A public hearing was conducted on October 19, 2005, at 9:00 a.m., with the following present:
Commissioner William H. Jerke, Chair
Commissioner M. J. Geile, Pro-Tern
Commissioner David E. Long
Commissioner Robert D. Masden
Commissioner Glenn Vaad
Also present:

County Attorney, Bruce Barker
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice duly published October 5, 2005, in the Fort Lupton Press,
a public hearing was conducted to consider the IRS TEFRA Hearing Concerning the Issuance of
Adjustable Rate Economic Development Bonds (BSC Hudson, LLC Project) Series 2005. Bruce
Barker, County Attorney, made this a matter of record. Mr. Barker stated the County has been
requested by BSC Hudson, LLC, to issue Bonds in the aggregate principal amount not to exceed
$5.9 million. He stated the principal amount will fund a loan by the County to BSC Hudson, LLC,
for the purposes of providing funds to acquire, develop, construct, approve, and equip a
manufacturing facility. He further stated the manufacturing facility will be approximately 48,000
square feet, and will be located at 22400 1-75 Frontage Road, Hudson, Colorado 80642. Mr.
Barker stated the funds will also pay for certain costs of issuance relating to the Bonds. He further
stated the project will be owned by the borrower, BSC Hudson, and will be operated by Boulder
Scientific Company. Mr. Barker stated the Intent Resolution has been previously approved.
No public testimony was offered concerning this matter.
There being no further discussion, the hearing was completed at 5:10 p.m.
