RE: ACCEPT MOTORGRADER SWAP PROPOSAL - COLORADO MACHINERY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works has presented the Board with a Motorgrader
Swap Proposal from Colorado Machinery, 125 John Deere Drive, Fort Collins,Colorado 80524,and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable to accept said
proposal.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, the Motorgrader Swap Proposal from Colorado Machinery, be and hereby is
accepted.
The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 21st day of September, A.D., 2005.

RE: D Series Grader Swap Proposal
Dear Mr. Persichino:
Colorado Machinery, LLC would like to propose swapping out 3 of the 770CH Series II
motor graders with 3 new 770D motor graders. The tires, teeth and edges from the C series will
be swapped to the D series. The new tires, teeth and edges will be put on the used graders. The
remaining warranty and buyout costs associated with the current C series units will apply to the
D series graders. There will be no additional cash outlay by Weld County. Weld County will
have 3 new graders under the same terms and conditions that apply to the current machines in
operation.
