The following change is hereby made to the Contract Documents:
Bridge WEL017.0-054.OA is to be removed from the contract, reducing the overall contract
amount by $14,430.00. Bridges WEL070.0-047.OA at $8,925.00, WEL053.0-078.OA at
$32,000.00, and WELOS5.0-052.OA at $7,250.00 will be added to the contract, increasing
the overall contract amount by$48,175.00.
CHANGE TO CONTRACT PRICE:
Original Contract Price: $ 165,120.00
Current Contract Price adjusted by previous Change Order: $ 165,120.00
The Contract Price due to this Change Order will be increased by: $ 33,745.00
The new Contract Price,including this Change Order,will be$ 198,865.00
CHANGE TO CONTRACT TIME:
The Contract Time will be increased by 0 calendar days.

SUBJECT: Bridge Rehab Change Order#1 Request
Change Order No. 1 is to revise the contract between Weld County and Can-Do Concrete
Construction Company for the rehabilitation of ten (10) bridges throughout Weld County. The
Change Order includes multiple items. The first item is to remove bridge 17/54A from the contract.
This structure was found to be a better replacement candidate than rehabilitation candidate. This will
remove$14,430 from the overall contact amount. The second item is to add 3 of the Add/Alternate
Structures to the contract. Can-Do is ahead of schedule and should be able to complete 12 structures
before the irrigation season begins this year. Bridges 70-47A($8,925), 53-78A($32,000),and 55-
52A ($7,250) will be added to the contract., The prices for these add/alternate structures were
included in the initial bid and are to be added at those quoted prices. No additional contract time to
perform the extra work will be included in the Change Order due to the restrictions of the irrigation
season. This change order brings the total contract amount to $198,865.00, including a Force
Account item,which is within the amount budgeted for this project. Please review the change order
and let me know when it will be placed on the board agenda.
