NOTICE OF TERMINATION
Intergovernmental Agreement Regarding Solid Waste Disposal Sites dated June
3, 1996, between the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Weld and
the Town of Erie
Gentlemen:
The Town of Erie hereby notifies you of its intent not to renew the Intergovernmental Agreement
Regarding Solid Waste Disposal Sites dated June 3, 1996, between the Board of County
Commissioners of the County of Weld and the Town of Erie("Agreement"). No target
segments identified in the Agreement remain with a pavement quality index ("pqi") of 7 or less.
Pursuant to this Notice of Intent Not to Renew and Notice of Termination, and in accordance
with the terms of Section 8.D. of the Agreement, the Agreement will expire as of June 2, 2006.
Prior to June 2, 2006 the County and the Town may wish to discuss the requirements addressing
the disposition of any funds remaining in the Road Maintenance and Improvement Trust Fund
established by the Agreement. Please contact Mike Acimovic at 303-926-2710 for questions.
