RE: APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT TO RECORDED EXEMPTION NO. 99 - LeNEITA
STAMP AND EARL AND BARBARA SOWERS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado has previously approved Recorded Exemption No. 99 for
LeNeita Stamp and Earl and Barbara Sowers on a parcel of land
described as part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 31, Town-
ship 3 North, Range 68 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colo-
rado, and
WHEREAS, on March 4 , 1981, the Board of County Commissioners
approved a request by Ms. Stamp and Mr. and Mrs. Sowers for a
subdivision exemption which created a 14 . 39-acre tract, and
WHEREAS, the request to amend the Recorded Exemption is for
the purpose of amending the boundaries of Recorded Exemption No.
99 to properly reflect the changes taking place in the ownership
of the parcel, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado has studied the request for an amendment to Recorded
Exemption No. 99 and desires to approve the same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the amendment to Recorded
Exemption No. 99 for LeNeita Stamp and Earl and Barbara Sowers
be, and hereby is, approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 6th day of
May, A.D. , 1981.

68 West of the 6th Principal Meridian, Weld County, Colorado, and being more particularly
described as follows: Beginning at a point on the West line of the said Northwest Quarter
of said Section 31 from which the West Quarter Corner of said Section 31 bears South a
distance,of 268.50 feet, thence -North'along said West line a distance of 673.11 feet, all
bearings used herein being relative thereto; thence North 89°22'00" East parallel to the

Re: Amended Recorded Exemption #99
Dear Commissioners:
The attached application, plat and related items are in reference to a
request from LeNeita Stamp and Earl and Barbara Sowers for a recorded
exemption. The parcel of land on which this request has been made is
described as part of the NWT, Section 31, T3N, R68W of the 6th P.M. ,
Weld County, Colorado. This property is located at the northwest edge
of Union Reservoir at 12566 and 12922 Weld County Road 1. The property
contains approximately 37.13 acres. The request is to split the property
into parcels of 14.39 acres and 22.74 acres. The applicants are amend-
ing the boundaries of Recorded Exemption #99 to properly reflect the
changes taking place in the ownership of the parcel. On March 4, 1981
the Board of County Commissioners approved a request for a subdivision
exemption for Ms. Stamp and Mr. and Mrs. Sowers creating the 14.39 acre
tract.

Northwest Quarter (NWT)
WHEREAS, on May 5 , 1972 , the General Assembly
of the State of Colorado , enacted Senate Bill #35 as relates
to Chapter 106 of the Colorado Revised Statutes , and
WHEREAS , on August 30 , 1972 , the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado , adopted Subdivision
Regulations for Weld County, Colorado to comply with the
prescribed Senate Bill #35 , and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Planning Commission
has recommended to the Board of County Commissioners for
recording of plat number 1207-31-2-RE99 as provided in
Section 9 of the Subdivision Regulations (exemption rules and
regulations) for Weld County, Colorado .
Said division of land determined to be exempt
from the definition of subdivision is more particularly
described as follows :
That part of the Northwest I of Section 31, T3N, R68W
of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado, described as
follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of said
Section 31, thence N 89°33' E along the North line of
the said Northwest +- of said Section 31 a distance of
2026.09 feet to a point on the West side of the Union
Reservoir approximately 25 West from the High Water Line;
thence parallel to and approximately 25 feet west of
said high water line by the following eight (8) bearings
and distances S 66°08' E, 368.0 feet; S 26°35'W,
240.0 feet; S''00 28' W, 265.0 feet; S 35°11' E, 280.0
