RE: SHOW CAUSE HEARING CONCERNING USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT #1456
FOR A KENNEL(25 CATS) IN THE A(AGRICULTURAL)ZONE DISTRICT-BARBARA
SCHOTTELKOTTE
A public hearing was conducted on March 16, 2005, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present:
Commissioner William H. Jerke, Chair
Commissioner M. J. Geile, Pro-Tem - EXCUSED
Commissioner David E. Long
Commissioner Robert D. Masden
Commissioner Glenn Vaad
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Esther Gesick
Assistant County Attorney, Lee Morrison
Planning Department representative, Jacqueline Hatch
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a Probable Cause hearing conducted on February 28,2005,a Show
Cause Hearing was set for March 16,2005, at 10:00 a.m.,to consider whether good cause exists
for the revocation of Use by Special Review Permit #1456 for a Kennel (25 cats) in the
A (Agricultural) Zone District issued to Barbara Schottelkotte. Lee Morrison, Assistant County
Attorney, made this a matter of record and stated the Clerk to the Board's Office has indicated there
was insufficient time to properly set up and notify the appropriate parties for this hearing,therefore,
staff is recommending this matter be continued to April 6,2005,at 10:00 a.m. In response to Chair
Jerke, Esther Gesick, Deputy Clerk to the Board, stated because this date was set in a public
hearing, the matter had to be listed on the Agenda; however, the matter needs to be continued to
April 6, 2005, for which proper notification has been completed.
No public testimony was offered concerning this matter.
Commissioner Vaad moved to continue the Show Cause Hearing Concerning Use by Special
Review #1456 for a Kennel (25 cats) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District, issued to Barbara
Schottelkotte, to April 6, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Long,
and it carried unanimously. There being no further discussion, the hearing was completed
at 10:10 a.m.
