RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF COMMISSIONER M. J. GEILE TO CERTAIN
ADVISORY BOARDS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Commissioner M. J. Geile has been assigned to Coordinate the Department
of Human Services, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Commissioner Geile be appointed to
represent the Board of County Commissioners on the following boards:
Criminal Justice Advisory Committee (alternate)
Work Force Development Board
Juvenile Services Planning Committee
Emergency Food and Shelter Program
North Front Range Water Quality Planning Association
Progressive 15 Board
Economic Development Action Partnership Board (EDAP)
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Commissioner Geile to said boards,
with his term on each board to expire December 31, 2005.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Commissioner M. J. Geile be, and hereby is, appointed to the above
listed boards, with his term on each board to expire December 31, 2005.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 3rd day of January, A.D., 2005.
