Tuesday, November 1, 2005
A regular meeting of the Weld County Planning Commission was held Tuesday 2005, in the Weld County
Department of Health, Hearing Room, 1555 N. 17th Ave,Greeley,Colorado. The meeting was called to order
by Vice-Chair, Chad Auer, at 1:35 p.m.

The summary of the last regular meeting of the Weld County Planning Commission held on October 18,2005,
was approved as read.

CASE NUMBER: USR-1522
APPLICANT: Alberto Loya

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: S2 SE4 Section 30, T3N, R65W of the 6th P.M., Weld County,
Colorado.
REQUEST: Site Specific Development Plan and a Special Review Permit for
Commercial Rodeo Arenas and Commercial Roping Arenas, to include
both indoor and outdoor arenas in the A(Agricultural)Zone District.
LOCATION: West of and adjacent to CR 39; approximately 2 miles south of CR 32.
Jacqueline Hatch, Department of Planning Services, presented case USR-1522. Ms. Hatch gave an
abbreviated presentation indicating that the case had been heard in September but is being re-heard due
to a notification error. The Planning Commission previously recommended denial for this case.
The Chair asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak for or against this application. No
one wished to speak.
Mr. Morrison provided clarification with regards to the process. This hearing is for someone who seen the
notification and wished to comment due to missing the hearing in September. Since there was no public
comment the previous decision will be upheld. There is no reason to reconsider the case so the decision will
remain as handled.
