BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF WELD
COUNTY, COLORADO:

o That it is necessary to set the annual appropriations for
w Weld County, Colorado for the fiscal year, 1985 , and

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has adopted the
w annual budget in accordance with the Local Government Budget
m a Law, on November 13 , 1984 , and

WHEREAS, in compliance with Section 3-8 of the Weld County

Home Rule Charter which provides that the Board of County
a Commissioners shall act only by ordinance in matters of
c contracts and inasmuch as this Appropriation Ordinance provides
oz for authority to expend or contract to expend or to enter into
w any contract which, by its terms , involves the expenditure of
money for any purpose recited in this Appropriation Ordinance.

BE IT ORDAINED that it is the intent of the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that this Appropriation
Ordinance is the ordinance by which the Board acts during the
rn z fiscal year 1985 in matters of all contracts that involve the
expenditure of money for any of the purposes for which are
a covered by the monies appropriated by this Appropriation
o w a Ordinance.

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that all monies received from the
o `,° sources and for the purposes named in Exhibit A, attached hereto
t-+ and incorporated as a part of this Ordinance be, and the same
m w are hereby appropriated for the County' s operations for the
fiscal year, commencing January 1 , 1985 , as estimated at this
time to be and which will become available during the year,
1985 .
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that an emergency exists inasmuch as
State law requires that the budget Ordinance of Weld County,
Colorado, be enacted on or before the 31st day of December,
1984 , and, therefore , this Ordinance is declared to be an
emergency Ordinance under the provisions of Section 3-14 of the
Weld County Home Rule Charter.

duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the
13th day of November, A.D. , 1985 .
