RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING PETITION FOR THE ANNEXATION OF
PORTIONS OF WELD COUNTY ROADS 27.5 AND 52 TO THE CITY OF EVANS
AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,the Board has been presented with a Petition for the Annexation of Portions of
Weld County Roads 27.5 and 52 to the City of Evans, to provide contiguity enabling the City of
Evans, Colorado, to complete the "Green Lake Annexation 6," and
WHEREAS,after review,the Board deems it advisable to continue said petition to March 14,
2005, at 9:00 a.m., to allow the municipalities to conduct meetings.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County,Colorado,that the Petition for the Annexation of Portions of Weld County Roads 27.5 and
52 to the City of Evans, Colorado, be, and hereby is, continued to March 14, 2005 at 9:00 a.m.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be,and hereby is,authorized to
sign said Petition.
