RESOLUTION
RE: REQUEST VACATION OF ALLEYWAYS ADJACENT TO LOTS 1 THROUGH 5 AND
LOTS 22 THROUGH 26, BLOCK 25, CLAYTON PARK, CITY OF GREELEY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on August 1, 2005, Lots 1, 2, 3, 24, and the North 5 feet of Lot 25, Block 25,
Clayton Park Subdivision to the City of Greeley,Colorado("the Properties"),were transferred to the
County of Weld by the Greeley Urban Renewal Authority, and
WHEREAS, the Board plans to construct a parking lot on the Properties, and
WHEREAS,located adjacent to the Properties are certain alleyways described and shown
on the attached Exhibit "A" ("the Alleyways"), and
WHEREAS, the City of Greeley intends to vacate the Alleyways because they are not
necessary for transportation purposes and access to the Properties, and
WHEREAS,the Board concurs in the City of Greeley's intention to vacate the Alleyways and
requests that said vacation occur.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that it concurs in the City of Greeley's intention to vacate the Alleyways and
requests that said vacation occur.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 14th day of September, A.D., 2005.

A parcel of land(to be vacated as an alley but remain as a utility easement)located in the Northwest Quarter of Section
5,Township 5 North,Range 65 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian,City of Greeley,Weld County,Colorado said
parcel of land being the entire alley lying adjacent to Lots 1 through 5 and adjacent to Lots 22 through 26,Block 25,
CLAYTON PARK and further described as:
BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of said Lot I;
Thence South 140 feet to the Southwest corner of said Lot 3;
Thence East 150 feet to the Southeast corner of said Lot 3;
Thence South 20 feet to the Northeast corner of said Lot 24;
Thence West 150 feet to the Northwest corner of said Lot 24;
Thence South 140 feet to the Southwest corner of said Lot 26;
Thence West 20 feet to the Southeast corner of said Lot 23; (fin
Thence North 140 feet to the Northeast corner of said Lot 23; lJV
Thence West 100 feet to the Northwest corner of said Lot 22;
