RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO JUVENILE COMMUNITY REVIEW BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Juvenile Community Review Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Susan Knox be appointed to said board as the
alternate law enforcement representative,to replace Patryce Engel;that John Miller be appointed
to said board as the alternate citizen representative,to replace John Cordova;and that Matt Friesen
be appointed to said board as the regular Division of Youth Services representative,to replace Jim
Gault, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Susan Knox, John Miller and Matt
Friesen to said board,with terms to expire November 1, 2006, November 1, 2007 and November 1,
2005, respectively, and
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado,that Susan Knox, John Miller and Matt Friesen be, and hereby are, appointed to
the Juvenile Community Review Board,with terms to expire November 1,2006, November 1,2007
and November 1, 2005, respectively.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 14th day of February, A.D., 2005.
