RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING PETITION FOR ABATEMENT OR REFUND OF
TAXES - PETROLEUM DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,the Board has been presented with a Petition for Abatement or Refund of Taxes
for Petroleum Development Corporation, and
WHEREAS,a hearing before the Board was held on the 30th day of March,2005,at which
time the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter to allow staff adequate time to complete
the forms and for the Board to conduct a work session concerning procedure on cases effected by
a recent Supreme Court ruling.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County,Colorado,that the abovementioned matter be,and hereby is, continued to April 18,2005,
at 9:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded,adopted by
the following vote on the 30th day of March, A.D., 2005.
