To Whom This May Concern, and Chris Gathman:
My family and I reside in Camfield approx 500 feet away from the proposed
dog kennel for property lots 27 - 33 Block 24, Townsite of Camfield; Part E2
of section 18, T7N, R64W of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado.
Case # USR - 1521
We moved to the country for the serenity, peacefulness, and quietness it has
to offer and would like it to stay that way, we feel that if this is approved we
will lose all of these benefits. We have dogs living around us and don't object
to dogs but more than 3 dogs in one place will distrub what we have enjoyed
for 2 '/ years.
We would like to object to having this dog kennel approved; Unless it is
mandated that every dog have a bark collar issued and used so that we will
- not lose the serenity, peacefulness, and quietness the country has to offer!
Sincerely,
Lot 2 Block 22

Dear Weld County Department of Planning Services,
I am writing to object to the requested permit for a kennel for 14 dogs(Case#USR-
1521). 14 dogs would disturb our quiet community substantially. We have many coyotes
and foxes that roam the community at night and the 14 dogs would probably bark all
night. I don't object to the kennel as long as the owners can control their dogs barking
with anti bark collars.

I am writing to voice my objections to case#USR-1521.
I am the only neighbor that lives directly behind said property for the kennel request. My
houce sits approximately 100 feet south of her privacy fence.
I am a country person, so I am constantly outside. My quality of life has been totally
mined, by the pack of dogs, which live next door.
• I walk across the yard...they BARK
• I take care of my flowers...they BARK
• I go out and take care of my horse...they BARK
• I come home and turn the door knob to go inside...they BARK
• I dropped something on my dining room table, one day...they BARKED
If you can't control your dogs, you have no business being a dog owner. I own a dog,
too. But, I don't let him bark.
I built my home out here. I use to have good neighbors!! She comes out here, from the
city, and buys a"Repo home"and thinks she can do what she wants with her animals.
She wasn't even aware of the animal limit per V2 acre.
When she does come home, she tries to quiet her dogs by saying"Sssh" "Sssh". Well,
that's not how you teach a dog not to bark.
She needs to follow the rules like everyone else. And, if the dogs are going to stay in her
back yard when she's not home, they need to be medically or electronically debarked.
Respectfully submitted by,
Charlene Fraser
