RESOLUTION
RE: APPROVAL OF FRAUD SERVICES CONTRACT BETWEEN THE DISTRICT
ATTORNEY AND DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a Fraud Services Contract between the District
Attorney and Department of Social Services has been presented
to the Board of County Commissioners and
WHEREAS, said contract concerns 1) the District Attorney
assisting the Department of Social Services in providing the
services necessary to prosecute those who fraudulently obtain
public assistance to which they are not entitled, 2) assistance
in other matters of common concern to the District Attorney and
Department of Social Services, and 3) reimbursement of costs
incurred by the District Attorney, and
WHEREAS, the term of said contract is from December 1 , 1979
to June 30 , 1980 , and
WHEREAS, the Board has studied said contract and deems it
advisable to approve the same .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Fraud Services Con-
tract between the District Attorney and Department of Social
Services be, and hereby is , approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 14th day of
May, A.D. , 1980.
