RE: DECLARE CERTAIN EQUIPMENT AS SURPLUS PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZE
REMOVAL OF SAME FROM INVENTORY LIST
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, State statute and the Weld County Code require that all items disposed of be
declared surplus by the Board of County Commissioners, and
WHEREAS,the County has determined that certain equipment,described on the Year-End
2004 Inventory Deletes, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference,
is no longer required for County use, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to declare said equipment as surplus and approve
the removal of all items from the Inventory List.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned equipment be, and hereby is, declared surplus.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Controller be, and hereby is, directed
to remove all listed equipment from the Inventory List of Weld County.
The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded,adopted by
the following vote on the 23rd day of February, A.D., 2005.
