RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD CONCERNING RECOMMENDATION OF THE WELD
COUNTY COMMUNICATIONS CENTER ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Communications Center Advisory
Board has completed its study of the recommendations of Augustine
Associates ' report and reconuuendations for the Communications '
consolidation, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Communications Center Advisory
Board has recommended that said Advisory Board be given the
authority to move the computer terminal to the existing center,
and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has studied the
recommendation of the Weld County Communication Center Advisory
Board and deems it advisable and in the best interests of Weld
County not to accept said recommendation, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable
and in the best interests of Weld County to allow the control of
the Communications Department to remain under the Board of County
Commissioners and further that said Department continue to
operate as has been done in the past .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Communications
Department shall remain under the control of the Board of County
Commissioners and further that said Department shall continue
to operate as has been done in the past.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made

and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 7th day of
January, A.D. , 1980.
