RE: APPOINTMENT OF ROBERT P. HALLERAN TO THE WELD COUNTY PLANNING
COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy now exists in District No. 2 on the Weld
County Planning Commission due to the resignation of Jim Gilbert
whose term would have expired on July 31 , 1981, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended to the Board of County Com-
missioners that Robert P. Halleran be appointed to membership
on said Planning Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that Robert P. Halleran be ,
and hereby is, appointed to the Weld County Planning Commission
to fill the unexpired term of Jim Gilbert, said term to expire
on July 31, 1981.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 21st day of
April, A.D. , 1980 .

Dear Bill,
This letter is to inform you I am resigning my position as a
member of the Weld County Planning Commission, effective immediately.
Due to the pressures of my business, and the excessive amount
of time I find myself traveling, I cannot find the time to do a good
job. I have thoroughly enjoyed the time I served on the Commission,
and will miss the opportunity to serve on the Commission.
