RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING ADDENDUM TO AGREEMENT FOR THE
CONVEYANCE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM THE TOWN OF NEW RAYMER
AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with an Addendum to Agreement for the
Conveyance of Certain Property to the County of Weld,State of Colorado,by and through the Board
of County Commissioners of Weld County,on behalf of the Weld County Regional Communications
Center, and Verizon Wireless, LLC, dba Verizon Wireless, from the Town of New Raymer, with
further terms and conditions being as stated in said agreement, and
WHEREAS,a hearing before the Board was held on the 24th day of August, 2005,at which
time the Board deemed it necessary to continue said matter to August 31, 2005, at 9:00 a.m., and
WHEREAS,a hearing before the Board was held on the 31st day of August,2005,at which
time the Board deemed it necessary to continue said matter to September 28, 2005, at 9:00 a.m.,
to allow time for Verizon Wireless to submit the necessary report, and
WHEREAS, at said hearing on the 28th day of September, 2005, the Board deemed it
advisable to refer said matter back to the County Attorney's Office to obtain the report from Verizon
Wireless, therefore continuing the matter indefinitely.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado,that the Addendum to Agreement for the Conveyance of Certain Property to the
County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, on behalf of the Weld County Regional Communications Center, and Verizon Wireless,
LLC, dba Verizon Wireless,from the Town of New Raymer be, and hereby is, referred back to the
County Attorney's Office, and is, therefore, continued indefinitely.

The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 28th day of September, A.D., 2005.
