RE: BOARD AUTHORITY FOR TREASURER TO TRANSACT REPURCHASE AGREEMENTS FOR
INVESTMENT PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado Statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado,
and
WHEREAS, the County Treasurer has requested that the Board grant him
on-going authority to transact repurchase agreements in the investment process
of Weld County funds, and
WHEREAS, the County Treasurer has requested that he be given authority
to transact such repurchase agreements with the Greeley National Bank and the
First National Bank of Greeley.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado that the County Treasurer is hereby authorized to
transact repurchase agreements for investment purposes of County funds with
the Greeley National Bank and the First National Bank of Greeley on an on-
going basis as needed.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 26th day of January, A.D. , 1981.
