RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENT TO NOXIOUS WEED
MANAGEMENT ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,vacancies currently exist on the Noxious Weed Management Advisory Board,
and
WHEREAS,it has been recommended that Bud Clemons and Shirley Soto be appointed to
said board to replace Roberta Barrington and Lauri Klausner,with terms to expire August 19,2008,
and
WHEREAS,it has been recommended that Chuck Birkemeyer be reappointed to said board,
with a term to expire August 19, 2008.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County,Colorado,that Bud Clemons and Shirley Soto be,and hereby are,appointed to said board,
to replace Roberta Barrington and Lauri Klausner, with terms to expire August 19, 2008.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Chuck Birkemeyer be, and hereby is,
reappointed to the Noxious Weed Management Advisory Board, with a term to expire August 19,
2008.
The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
following vote on the 14th day of September, A.D., 2005.
