RE: APPROVAL OF MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AND THE SOLAR ENERGY
ASSOCIATION OF NORTHEASTERN COLORADO, INC. DBA THE
ENERGY EXTENSION SERVICE OF NORTHEASTERN COLORADO
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a memorandum of understanding between Weld County
and the Solar Energy Association of Northeastern Colorado, Inc. ,
d/b/a the Energy Extension Service of Northeastern Colorado, here-
inafter referred to as "Energy Extension Service" has been
presented to the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has studied said memorandum of under-
standing and deems it advisable to approve same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the memorandum of under-
standing for Energy Extension Service between Weld County and
the Solar Energy Association of Northeastern Colorado, be and
hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
that the Chairman of the Board be, and hereby is, authorized to
sign said memorandum of understanding.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 7th day of
December, A. D. , 1981.

MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
THIS MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING made this 7th day of
December , 1981, by and between the BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF WELD COUNTY, COLORADO, hereinafter referred
to as "Weld County" and the SOLAR ENERGY ASSOCIATION OF NORTH-
EASTERN COLORADO, INC. , d/b/a THE ENERGY EXTENSION SERVICE OF
NORTHEASTERN COLORADO, hereinafter referred to as "Energy
Extension Service. "
Weld County agrees to furnish to Energy Extension Service
the following: the premises known as County Building 13 includ-
ing the provision for one table and three chairs.
The Energy Extension Service agrees to furnish all other
materials they may need.
The term of this agreement shall be for a period of three (3)
months and at the expiration of three (3) months shall continue
on a month-to-month basis, but in no event shall be longer than
eight (8) months from the effective date of this agreement.
The Energy Extension Service shall provide its own insurance
coverage in minimum amounts as follows: property damage for
$100 , 000 and bodily injury liability in the amount of $400, 000
each occurrence.
The Energy Extension Service hereby agrees to indemnify and
hold harmless the County of Weld for any and all claims , actions,
suits, proceedings, costs , expenses , damages and liabilities in-
cluding any attorneys ' fees arising out of , connected with, or
resulting from the use of said premises.
In consideration of the foregoing, the Energy Extension
Service shall pay to Weld County a monthly fee of $25.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have herunto subscribed
their names and agree the same this 7th day of December
1981.
