Subject: Mineral Resources Statement; Arnheim Property
To Whom It May Concern:
I am a professional geologist as defined by Colorado statutes. I have reviewed
the location of the Arnheim property with respect to Special Publication 5-B, Atlas
of Sand, Gravel and Quarry Aggregate Resources, Colorado Front Range
Counties prepared by the Colorado Geological Survey, 1974. I am also
knowledgeable and experienced in the general area of the Arnheim property with
respect to sand and gravel resources.
The Arnheim property is underlain by a sand and gravel deposit associated with
the South Platte River. Based on my research, and experience with similar
deposits in the area, this property likely contains 800,000-1,000,000 tons of sand
and gravel in place. Although this is a relatively small deposit, which may not be
considered economically viable by some large producers, it is my understanding
that the property owner would eventually like to mine the southerly portion of the
property for use in its own construction operations. The economic feasibility of
recovery of these deposits is a decision made by the owner/operator.
Sand and gravel mining is allowed as a Use by Special Review in the Industrial
Three (1-3) Zone District so rezoning the property to 1-3 would not preclude sand
and gravel mining.

Hopefully, we did this correctly this time!
Attached please find copies of the letters, mailed certified mail with return receipt
requested for the Planning Commission hearing on November 18th. The certifications,
etc. are attached to each letter.
-- Please note that Barrett Energy was returned again and unknown and undeliverable.
We have search for Barrett through phone directories and have been unable to locate
them.
Please let me know ASAP if there are still any problems with this.
