RESOLUTION
RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR THE WELD COUNTY TREASURER TO CANCEL PRO-
DUCTION TAXES OF THE 1979 COUNTY TAX CERTIFICATE NUMBERS
378, 379 AND 380
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
O Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the

affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
O WHEREAS, William Crews, holder of oil and gas leases on
o, certain properties located in Weld County, Colorado, has requested
0 relief from the assessment of tax liability on certain properties
of Doris Williams, Shirley and Ardan Leonard and Mr. Krieger, and
WHEREAS, said tax assessment was levied against Hi Plains,
former lessor, which is now a defunct corporation, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Crews has requested that the production tax
concerning the 1979 County Tax Certificate Numbers 378, 379 and
380 be cancelled so that he may commence operations on said pre-
mises, and
WHEREAS, the Board desires to authorize the Weld County
Treasurer to cancel said tax certificates.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Weld County Treasurer
be, and hereby is, authorized to cancel the production tax con-
cerning the 1979 County TaxCertificate Numbers 378, 379 and 380.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 27th day of
April, A.D. , 1981.
