RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT TO WELD 911 EMERGENCY TELEPHONE SERVICE
AUTHORITY BOARD
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Weld 911 Emergency Telephone Service
Authority Board, and
WHEREAS,it has been recommended that Rod DeRoo be appointed to said board as the
Emergency Medical Services representative, to replace Rick Weber, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Rod DeRoo to said board as the
Emergency Medical Services representative, with a term to expire January 9, 2007.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Rod DeRoo be, and hereby is, appointed to the Weld 911 Emergency
Telephone Service Authority Board.
The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded,adopted by
the following vote on the 26th day of January, A.D., 2005.
