RE : PIERCE AMBULANCE SERVICE .
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado , pursuant to Colorado Statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter , is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , on March 3 , 1976 , the Board of County Commissioners
entered into an agreement with the Town of Pierce concerning the
Pierce Ambulance Substation Service , and
WHEREAS , paragraph 6 of the agreement specified that the
cost of the uniforms for the amublance service will be the resp-
onsibilities of the volunteers, and
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado has reconsidered that policy and concluded that Weld
County will purchase the jackets for the ambulance service .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commi-
ssioners of Weld County that Weld County will purchase the jackets
for the volunteers of the Pierce Ambulance Service from this date
forward .
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 17th day of
December , A.D . , 1980.
