ORDINANCE NO. 89-E
IN THE MATTER OF THE REPEAL AND RE-ENACTMENT, WITH AMENDMENTS, AND THE
ADDITION OF CERTAIN SECTIONS OF ORDINANCE NO. 89, WELD COUNTY ZONING
ORDINANCE, REVISING AND ADDING CERTAIN PROCEDURES, TERMS, AND REQUIREMENTS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF WELD COUNTY, COLORADO:
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has the power and authority
under the Weld County Home Rule Charter and Article 28 of Title 30, CRS 1973,
to adopt zoning regulations for the unincorporated areas of the County of
Weld, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
adopted Ordinance No. 89, Weld County Zoning Ordinance, establishing a
comprehensive revision of the zoning regulations and zoning maps for the
unincorporated areas of the County of Weld, and
WHEREAS, said Ordinance No. 89 is in need of revision and clarification
with regard to procedures, terms, and requirements therein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that certain sections of said Ordinance No. 89 are
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, as follows:
Appeal and Re-enact Section 21.4.3 to read:
Submit to the Board of County Commissioners for adoption,
every five (5) years, an updated copy of the Official Weld
County Zoning Map which includes the rezoning approvals
made since the last adoption of the Map. A reproducible
copy of the official Weld County Zoning Map shall be
maintained which includes all of the rezoning approvals
made since the last adoption of the map by the Board of
County Commissioners. The map shall be available for
public inspection in the office of the Department of
Planning Services.
Repeal and Re-enact Section 21.4.4 to read:
Submit to the Weld County Clerk and Recorder the rezoning
plat as required in Section 21.7.3 for recording.
Repeal and Re-enact Section 21.6.5 to read:
The Board shall adopt, every five years, an updated copy
of the Official Weld County Zoning Map which includes the
rezonings approved since the last annual update.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that new sections be added to Ordinance 89 as
follows:
