RE: APPROVE VACATION OF USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT#404-FRONT RANGE
HAY COMPANY, INC., CIO WILLIAM ADAMS
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,by Resolution dated December 26, 1979,the Board approved Use by Special
Review Permit#404 for an Alfalfa Cubing Facility for Front Range Hay Company, Inc.,c/o William
Adams, on the following described real estate, to-wit:
Part of the NW 1/4/4 SW 1/4/4 of Section 17,Township 1
North, Range 66 West of the 6th P.M.,Weld County,
Colorado
WHEREAS, the Board has received a request from the current property owner, Joyce
Greenfield,7145 Vardon Way, Fort Collins,Colorado 80528,to vacate said Use by Special Review
Permit#404, and
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners heard all of the testimony and statements
of those present,studied the request of the applicant and the recommendations of the Department
of Planning Services staff and all of the exhibits and evidence presented in this matter and, having
been fully informed, deems it advisable to approve said vacation.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Use by Special Review Permit#404 be, and hereby is, vacated.
The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded,adopted by
the following vote on the 2nd day of May, A.D., 2005.

SUBJECT: Vacation of SUP-404
The Department of Planning Services has received the attached letter from Joyce
Greenfield. Ms. Greenfield is requesting that SUP-404 for an alfalfa cubing facility be
vacated as a requirement of Amended Site Plan Review AMSPR-216.
Background information:
Legal Description: Part of NW4 SW4 of Section 17, Ti N, R66W of the 6th P.M., Weld
County, CO.
Location: East of and adjacent to CR 27 and approximately 1/2 mile north of
CR 8
SUP-404: SUP-404 was approved by the BOCC on December 26, 1979, for
Special Use Permit for an alfalfa cubing facility for front range hay
company, Inc. in the A (Agricultural) Zone District.
