RE: ITEMIZING LEGAL HOLIDAYS DURING CALENDAR YEAR OF 1981.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, following is a list of holidays to be observed in 1981 as days
off for Weld County employees:
New Years Day Thursday, January 1, 1981
Presidents' Day Monday, February 16, 1981
Memorial Day Monday, May 25, 1981
Independence Day Friday, July 3, 1981 (July 4, 1981
falls on Saturday)
Colorado Day Monday, August 3, 1981
Labor Day Monday, September 7, 1981
Veteran's Day Wednesday, November 11, 1981
Thanksgiving Thursday, November 26, 1981 and
Friday, November 27, 1981 (replaces
Lincoln's Birthday)
Christmas Thursday, December 24, 1981 (replaces
Columbus Day) and
Friday, December 25, 1981

* Head Start will follow the same holiday schedule as School District #6.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado that the list of holidays as set forth above shall be
observed during the calendar year of 1981 as days off for Weld County employees .
