The overall number of samples tested exceed 1,100, and none have found excessive traces of oil or gas impact. The question came up as to the capacity of the program, and possible future uses of these dollars. Dan indicated the Health Department has the capacity to test significantly more than what they do each year. The Health Department plans on an outreach campaign in 2026 to test more samples. If the number of tests being conducted drops significantly, the Health Department can pivot into new lines of testing with the moneys if deemed valuable to residents and the FML board.
