RE: AUTHORIZATION TO DESIGNATE THE COLUMBIA SAVINGS AND.
LOAN, FIRST FEDERAL SAVINGS AND LOAN, AND CENTRAL BANK WEST
AS DEPOSITORIES FOR WELD COUNTY FUNDS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Columbia Savings and Loan, First Federal Savings
and Loan, and Central Bank West, adequately qualify as depositories
for the Weld County Funds, pursuant to C. R. S. 1973, Section 30-10-708 ,
as amended, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County
Colorado deems it in the best interests of Weld County to desig-
nate the Columbia Savings and Loan, First Federal.. Savings and Loan,
and Central Bank West as additional depositories for the funds of
Weld County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Columbia Savings
and Loan, First Federal Savings and Loan, and Central Bank West,
be, and hereby are, designated as depositories for the funds of
Weld County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the County
Treasurer, Francis M. Loustalet, is authorized and instructed to
secure said deposits according to law.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly
made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 1st
day of February, A. D. , 1982.
