You are notified that The Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway Company (BNSF)
hereby enters its appearance and intervention :n :he above-captioned Application. BNSF will
intervene and participate in this proceeding as its interest may appear. Service on BNSF, as
required by Rule 9(b)(2> of the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure, may be
accomplished by serving the undersigned.
By this intervention BNSF is not opposing or contesting the granting of the application, but
rather indicates to the parties and all interested persons. firms or corporations, that BNSF will
participate in any hearing which results from an intervention contesting or objecting to any portion
of the application. If there are no other intervenors or protests, BNSF has no objection to the
Application being handled by modified procedure under C.R.S. 40-6-109(5), and, in such event, the
Public Utilities Commission may treat this appearance and intervention as withdrawn.
