Ideally signage would be graphical form representing addresses placed on a private road referenced from the county road access. Individual corresponding addresses need to be prominently displayed at the entrances of the residences. All addressing should be clearly visible during hours of darkness. The signage needs to be maintained in perpetuity and there should be a plan to accomplish that. The proposal does not specifically indicate if the access road will remain a private road. If the road remains private, everyone should be informed that the Sheriffs Office has significant limitations regarding traffic enforcement on private roads in the event speeding or other use which may not conform to traffic laws on public roads. Private roads require specific provisions for maintenance, particularly from heavy snowfall and/or drifting, which is not described in this proposal. A pull-off and bus shelter should be constructed on either Lots 1 or 4 off of WCR 23 to allow for small children to wait for the bus. Thsi should be made so the bus does not have to stop on the roadway nor that children have to enter the roadway to wait for the bus. Additionally, mailboxes for the residents who live within the subdivision should be placed on the west side of WCR 23 to enable them to get their mail without having to cross the roadway. The Sheriffs Office lacks the ability to absorb any additional service demand without the resources recommended in the multi-year plan provided to the Board of County Commissioners or as indicated by growth not considered at the time the plan was developed. I have no other comments on this proposal. g.
