POER AND COMPANY WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, State of Colorado, at a duly and lawfully called regular meeting held on the 15th day of July, 2002, at which meeting there were present the following members: Chair Glenn Vaad and Commissioners M. J. Geile, William H. Jerke, David E. Long, and Robert D. Masden, and WHEREAS, notice of such meeting and an opportunity to be present has been given to the taxpayer and the Assessor of said County, and said Assessor, Stan Sessions, being represented by Michael Sampson, and taxpayer ARC IV, LLC, do Marvin F. Poer and Company, not being present, and WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners have carefully considered the attached petition, and are fully advised in relation thereto. NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Board concurs with the recommendation of the assessor and the petition be and hereby is, denied, and an abatement refund not be allowed as follows: fiSSESSE€JI , TOTAL TAX 'VALUATION: = 'N!XQUINT Yom` $1,072,956.00 $100,252.71 2001 0Q : PPPL, 1\-s, r1s) 2002-1864 AS0051 RESOLUTION RE: AUTHORIZE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO CONVENE AS A BOARD OF EQUALIZATION FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2002 WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, Section 39-8-101, C.R.S., provides that the Board of County Commissioners shall constitute a Board of Equalization for the adjustment and equalization of assessments among the several taxpayers of Weld County, Colorado, and to review the assessment roll of all taxable property located in Weld County, as prepared by the Assessor, and to hear appeals from the determination of said assessments fixed and made by the County Assessor of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS,said Board of Equalization shall convene on July 15,2002,and thereafter may convene and adjourn on each day following, through the 5th day of August, 2002. NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,that said Board shall sit as a Board of Equalization beginning on July 15, 2002, and ending August 5, 2002.
