RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF JOANNE FENTON TO WORKFORCE
DEVELOPMENT BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Workforce Development Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Joanne Fenton be appointed to said board
as the large business representative, to replace Sue Bjordland, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Joanne Fenton to said board, with
her term to expire December 31, 2002.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Joanne Fenton be, and hereby is, appointed to the Workforce
Development Board, with her term to expire December 31, 2002.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 1st day of July, A.D., 2002.
